What Does My Internship Look Like?

My internship offers a plethora of experiences, allowing me to see so many different areas of marine biology. The coolest part of my internship is probably being able to go out on a boat just about every week for sample collection, so I can see the environment first hand, as well as working in the lab(which is also super rad), as its an new experience that allows us really to see the science behind everything going on. So cool! With this marine biology and costal sciences lab, you really get to immerse yourself within the environment you are researching, an experience that not all labs are fortunate enough to have. not only going out on the boat, but even the "Wet" side of the lab allows you to conduct controlled experiments. Even just getting to learn about marine life, something that has always fascinated me is just so much fun and such a positive experience. Definitely would recommend for anyone interested in Marine Bio or Coastal Sciences. Or anyone because this is the coolest Internship Available.
